Tech Minded is always researching the new products and gear to make our clients lives easier and more productive. This year's ISE show in Amsterdam just wrapped and there were a number of new products presented. Here are a few that we think you should keep an eye on.
Barco is known for their dongle based presentation solutions. While they are typically bigger units for larger spaces, their new CS-100 and CS-200 are developed specifically for small Huddle-style rooms. More Info
Biamp had a number of launches and updates at this years show. Notable releases included the Tesira 1200-1 and 1200-1, the first enterprise-ready rack-mounted audio amplifiers that use asymmetric power distribution. That means it only uses one wire instead of two and allows for more flexibility in installation. More Info. They have also partnered up with Google to utilize Hangouts in their TesiraFORTÉ series. Biamp has some pretty slick patent-pending technology with their Beamtracking microphones. These hone-in on speakers voices around the room for a clearer conversation. The announcement of the Parlé family of microphones is the latest advancement of that technology. More Info
Biamp’s third big reveal was the speaker side. This included a new line for conference rooms called Desono. They are feature rich and easier to install. More Info A few new pendant-style speakers were also announced that are budget friendly with good sound.
CTOUCH makes big beautiful interactive displays. Their 2019 ISE announcement touted their new integration with Microsoft Teams. This adds some great functionality to collaboration rooms and makes you feel like the future is here. More Info
Epiphan Video - Makes a compact video streaming solution called the Pearl and Pearl-Mini. This week they announced integrations with Crestron and Kaltura. These two APIs will allow interfacing with the hardware of your room and video library for streaming. More Info
Logitech seriously throws their hat in the Teams ring with a launch of their One-Touch Video Collaboration Platform. Logitech Tap integrates with Teams, Zoom, Hangouts and potentially others. This 10.1 inch screen solution looks pretty simple and elegant. More Info
Philips entered the LED market with their Professional Display Solutions (PDS). There are a number of sizes and pixel densities that were discussed. They also expanded their T-Line of touch screens with a new 10” model. More info
QSC shared information on their business music solutions devices. This includes paging/music mixers, wall controller, amplifiers, speakers and a selection of apps. It’s a full suite of devices that are architecturally pleasing, easy to install and offer a great user experience. More info
UC Workspace launched their V4 version of Quicklaunch. New and improved features: Meeting manager, system check-in, meeting check-in, enhanced calendar, integration themes for tabbed mode, enhanced action tiles & events, enhanced hdmi sharing, enhanced screen sharing and MSI installer. More info
Utelogy launched U-Manage, an all-new way to keep track of your audio video systems. It tracks all your rooms and the equipment inside for usage, performance and any problem issues. More Info
WolfVision added a great extension to its products with the addition of wireless presentation connection and called Cynap Pure. This allows you to bring your own device (BYOD) and connect to the local shared screen. It can do 4k resolution, touchscreen and remote operation of PCs. More info
