Even better, Hatz is smart about it.
There are a lot of AI models available on the Hatz platform. Each has different strengths — some are fast, some are powerful, some are built for code, others for creative work or image generation. Picking the right one for every task is time-consuming, and picking the wrong one means you’re either burning through credits unnecessarily or getting a worse result than you could have.
Auto means the best for that message, within your mode and your organization’s rules. There is no single model that is best for every sentence—Auto is built around that idea.
Choose the mode too.
Hatz also allows you to balance speed, cost, and capability:
- Lite — lightweight and fast for routine questions
- Performance — smart routing that picks the right model for each task (default)
- Turbo — maximum intelligence for complex, high-stakes work
Simple picture: stronger models often cost more credits than lighter ones. Lite tends to stay on the lighter side; Turbo allows the system to use more capability when the task needs it, which can use more credits on harder work. Exact usage still depends on how long your messages are, attachments, and tools (search, connectors, etc.), not just the mode.
Tools make the difference.
Every message you send is analyzed in real-time. The system looks at what you’re asking, how complex it is, and what tools or files might make sense to be involved, then routes your message to the model best suited for that specific request and with Auto-Tool turned on, gives the model access to the additional tools it needs.

Hatz Credits are units of measure directly tied to AI usage in the Hatz AI platform. Each Hatz AI user is entitled to a set number of credits that can be shared with users across their tenant. Credits automatically reset at the start of the month.
Hatz AI is sold in packages intended to be shared across the users in your organization. In doing it in this way, you give everyone a solution, but without the normal costs of doing so. Credits are calculated in real time — more expensive models, or faster modes, cost more credits. Simpler requests, and less expensive models use less credits. Below is guidance on what number of people generally works within each package.
- Intro Package: 30,000 credits (typically for 5 or less users)
- Starter Package: 100,000 credits (typically for 6 to 49 users)
- SMB Package: 250,000 credits (typically for 50 to 99 users)
- Business Package: 750,000 credits (typically for 100 to 149 users)
- Professional Package: 1,500,000 credits (typically for 150+ users, plus additional blocks of 250,000 as needed)
Credit Usage is dependent on a verity of factors, most prominent being the LLM selected, and the number of AI Tokens used. It is nearly impossible to determine the exact number of AI Tokens a prompt will use, however, estimations can me made based on previous token measurements provided by the LLM.

Within a single conversation, a quick follow-up question might go to a fast, lightweight model, while a detailed coding request in the very next message gets routed to a heavyweight. You don’t have to do anything — it just works.
Flexibility
Auto doesn’t lock you in. Every message is independent. There’s no commitment, no state to reset. You can:
- Switch away at any time — change to a specific model mid-conversation whenever you want
- Switch back — return to Auto on the next message and it picks up right where it should
- Mix and match — use Auto for most messages and manually select a model when you have a preference
