Five Sentences

These five sentences will help you get the appointment scheduled. They address and flow through the initial, natural resistance of most to avoid spending time with someone talking through the issues — especially if you are “cold calling” on an organization.

 

Sentences 1 and 2:

“Hi, I’m _______________, a technology client advocate and strategist. I know I’m an interruption; can I have 27 seconds to tell you why I called?”

 

Sentence 3:

“I believe our business model offers a breakthrough in how you engage with technology providers.”

 

Sentence 4:

“I reached out today to get 15 minutes on your calendar to share that breakthrough with you.”

 

Sentence 5:

“Do you happen to have your calendar available?” — OR —
“Do you make cloud infrastructure and connectivity technology decisions?”

 

Handle the “Send me info” Objection

“It’s best for us to speak in order for YOU to gain the full understanding of our capabilities.  And, then I can send you information specific to that conversation. Otherwise, it can be overwhelming.”
